McKinney...The Real Racist

The recent fiasco involving Congresswoman Cynthia McKinney (D-GA), striking a Capitol Hill police officer, should have never been more than a 2 line blurb on 11th page of your local paper. However, the bigoted congresswoman from Georgia, who is notorious for her disdain for Israel, saw an opportunity to go after whitey. McKinney's press conference Friday was nothing more than an I hate white people rally. She brought out her big guns such as Danny Glover and the banana boat guy. Her attorney, James W. Myart Jr., said his client was "just a victim of being in Congress while black." Once again when your in the wrong, pull out the race card.

If the congresswoman would of simply apologized and sent the Capitol Hill police a fruit basket, this would of gone away. However, she decided to hold her anti-white press conference accusing the police of racism and sexism. The police have asked the U.S. Attorney's office to review the case. They are requesting an arrest warrant.

Tom Delay...Dems Shouldn't Be So Happy

Your brilliant blogger stated a while back that Delay should resign for the sake of his party. His decision today benefits many people, none of them Democrats. Delay undoubtedly became a liability for the GOP. Guilty or not he became the poster-child for political corruption. Over the next 7 months the Dems were going to utilize his reputation and attempt to paint the entire Republican Party in his image. Today their paint brush was taken away.

Sure, Dems will continue pressing on attempting to still use Delay's resignation as an admittance of guilt. They will get a few days worth of media headlines. The NY Times, CNN, ABC will keep the story alive, but eventually other events will force the left wing media whores to abandon their coverage. Dems also had a legitimate opportunity to capture his house seat, if he stayed in the race. With him being gone, most certainly his seat will remain in GOP control. No posterboy, no seat...no victory for Dems with Delay step down.

Go Sox Go!

The World Series Champs Chicago White Sox had their world series rings presented to them before today's game. Former Sox centerfielder Aaron Rowand, who was traded to Philadelphia, received enormous applause as he took advantage of his day off in Philly to attend today's ceremony. Sox owner Jerry Reinsdorf showed a side of class that many would argue is rarely displayed when he gave rings to Hall of Famers Luis Aparicio and Carlton Fisk and families of past team owners, including Charles Comiskey, Mary Frances Veeck and John Allyn. I have always been critical on how the Sox handled releasing Fisk and how Reinsdorf was so adamant about erasing all signs of Bill Veeck when he bought the club. Granting rings to these athletes and owners was a great gesture. Trib Story Click here

Bill Cosby Shaken Up The Establishment

African American leaders such as Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton spoke at a recent protest rally calling for fair elections in New Orleans. Blacks politicians are concerned that the hundreds of thousands of displaced African American citizens, who were displaced by Hurricane Katrina, won't be able to vote in the April 22 election. Comedian/Actor entertainment icon, Bill Cosby also addressed the crowd, but he spoke to the 2000 attendees, words Jesse and Al never want Black America to hear. "Ladies and gentlemen, you had the highest murder rate, unto each other. You were dealing drugs to each other. You were impregnating our 13-, 12-, 11-year-old children," Cosby said. "What kind of a village is that?"

Cosby comments were made referring to the city of New Orleans before Katrina. He was asking residents to look at the problems facing the black community before the hurricane and try to fix them as the city is rebuilt. It was comical and sad watching Sharpton stand behind Cosby during his speech. It was blatantly obvious Sharpton was uneasy hearing the legendary comics speech. You Know was thinking to himself "hey Bill, shut up, there are political ramifications to consider". To bad Al and Jesse don't have Cosby's character or courage.
