Your embarrasing yourself

The best comparison I can make to describe the international community, European Union, United Nations or any group or term that represents multiple nations would be: 1. One who is addicted to talking tough, but unwilling to take action to support their words. 2. To be crapped on.

Right now Iran continues to say "f--k you" to the world as they continue developing their nuclear program. HMMM, I wonder why they continue to be defiant after the UN imposed sanctions. Maybe because the sanctions are weak and worthless. Why are they weak? Because nations such as Russia, China and France profit from selling materials to Iran. What do you expect when French President Jacques Chirac tells 3 separate publications , "that it would "not be very dangerous" if Iran had nuclear weapons. He has since retracted the statement.

To make matters more pitiful, U.S. Undersecretary of State Nicholas Burns said referring to Iran's new assembly of centrifuges, Iran would face "universal international opposition" over the step. "If they think they can get away with 3,000 centrifuges without another Security Council resolution and additional international pressure, then they are very badly mistaken,"

Mr. Undersecretary, do you think Iran gives a damn about your threats? They know that any action taken against them in the form of UN resolutions or sanctions will be watered down and meaningless. Sir, shut your mouth. Your embarrassing yourself and the United States.

Nuclear weapons in the hands of Iran is a nightmare. This is a government that serves as the chief sponsor of terrorism and has a cheap view of human life. Israel, United States, western civilization and the entire middle east should be afraid-very afraid.

Hillary the Socialist?

I am often criticized for referring to many Democrats as Socialists. I do not apologize for these assertions because many Democrats are Socialists or damn well near. Kucinich, Schakowsky, Sanders (admitted), Feingold just to name a few. I have never viewed Senator Hillary Clinton as a Socialist, but she sure ain't no moderate. Today she is advocating one Socialist cause...wealth redistribution. Check out this unbelievable video. Chairman Mao would be proud.


Paulies Dropping Pounds Cont.

No this is not going to be a weekly feature, but when I have news to share, you will know about it. About a year ago at this time I had a physical and my cholesterol was 261. A high number indeed. Six months later, I dropped my number to 231. A great improvement, but still high. Today I received my latest numbers...191 baby! The quest for health continues.

Superbowl Sunday

Bears vs Colts! If you listen to the sport writers and self-describes experts, the Bears don't have a prayer. Vegas opened the line at 8 in favor of the Colts. Since then the line has moved to 7, so the majority of gamblers are taking the Bears to at least cover. I agree with that opinion.

I will admit that its hard for me to give a non-bias opinion because I am a die-hard Bears fan. However, I do believe the Bears will win the game because the hype regarding Indy's improved defense is unfounded. The Bears running combo of Jones and Benson will be very successful and QB Rex Grossman will be at home playing in Miami, his college ball was played at Florida. The Bears must contain Colts QB Peyton Manning and put pressure on him. If Manning has all day to throw the ball, than all bets are off and he may light up the scoreboard passing to Marvin Harrison and Reggie Wayne. I don't see the Bears defense giving him that luxury. Bears Win!...I hope.
