Father Pfleger calls for human being to be murdered
Priest wants gun shop owner "snuffed"

Whenever acts of violence are perpetuated with a firearm, the anti-second amendment crowd comes out in full force to declare you have no right to bear arms. This past Saturday the opportunist clergymen of Chicago and Operation Push, marched in front of a south suburban gun shop, which they blame for the violence in their community.

Anytime the Rev. Jesse Jackson, Rev. James Meeks and Father Michael Pfleger get together, you can predict a great show for the media cameras and plenty of blame to go around. However, what occurred this past Saturday, couldn't of been for seen by anyone and should warrant a police investigation.


Father Pfleger who is a Chicago icon as a civil rights activist, called for the murder of the gun shop owner and any Illinois legislators who don't agree with his views on gun control. According to Illinois Review, the St. Sabina's pastor exhorted the crowd to "drag" shop owner, John Riggio, from his shop "like a rat" and "snuff" him. Rev. Pfleger went on to tell the crowd that legislators that vote against gun control legislation should be "snuffed" as well. As many know, "snuff" is slang for especially violent murder.


The very idea of a human being calling for another persons death is disturbing. When a supposed man of God advocates murder and violence, it's incomprehensible. Sadly, your brilliant blogger is not surprised that Rev. Pfleger would try to stir a crowd into a violent frenzy. The man who shared the stage and embraced Nation of Islam leader Minister Louis Farrakhan last week, has a long history of ignoring the Ten Commandments when it comes to spewing his political views.

Adding to this sad incident is the lack of media coverage regarding Pfleger's comments. Tribune staff writer James Kimberly covered the event and completely ignored the pastor's violent words. After reading his story, you'll see that the article was written as a blatant pro-gun control piece. The fact that a man of the cloth is asking followers to commit murder, somehow wasn't newsworthy.




Israel preparing citizens for all-out war
America and Europe can learn from Jewish State


As the world watches Iran obtain nuclear weapons and military confrontations looming in Lebanon and Gaza, the government of Israel is preparing for war. However, in a country that has never not faced the possibility of war throughout it's history, preparing for war has a different meaning for citizens of the Jewish State.

Over the next few weeks, the Israel Defense Forces will launch a publicity campaign to educate Israeli's on what to do in the event of an attack. Parts of Israel began receiving pamphlets a few weeks ago explaining how to react during a Kassam rocket attack. This past March a nationwide emergency response drill, utilized all branches of emergency services and public safety. The two-day exercise throughout the country dealt with worst case scenarios, including large scale terrorist attacks and unconventional missile attacks.

While Israel gets ready for the worst, the rest of the world should pay attention and pray they don't have to live with the daily threats the Jewish State is exposed too. Can you imagine a time when residents of Beverly Hills, CA or Greenwich, CT have to worry about rockets landing on their multi-million dollar homes or the housewives have to learn how to operate a hand gun and use a gas mask? If the United States and Europe don't take Islamic-extremism seriously and confront terrorism abroad, that scenario will not be a nightmare, it will be called everyday life.
